So yeah, Project Phoenix is “done,” though it will never actually be done. Which is awesome. There’s always more to do, and doing it is extremely gratifying. Off the top of my head, some of the larger upcoming projects include finishing the closet by building some shelving and a clothes hanging rack, putting doors on said closet, possibly replacing some of the windows to expand the ocean view, possibly replacing the front door with a sliding glass door to expand the canyon view, and figuring out how to setup and best use the solar panels that were given to uncle Tim.
The galleries from 2013 on are all fairly reflective of my typical cabin trips nowadays. There’s a nice balance of adventure (working or exploring) and relaxation (soaking in the nature or trying to capture some of its beauty with our cameras).
I feel so lucky to have such wonderful friends. Thank you all for the excellent company throughout this continuing adventure.
