The era of STUFF EVERYWHERE OMG SERIOUSLY THERE IS FREAKING STUFF EVERYWHERE continued for a full year while we worked on the interior paneling and framing the closet and various other projects.
In June of 2012, we began to enter a new era: the era of slightly less stuff everywhere.
The wall paneling was finally fully up and stained, and my cousin Cody (Uncle Tim’s son), flew out from Washington to teach us how to install the flooring. Once that was done, we spent the rest of the year unpacking and building the furniture and the kitchen counters.
Yay! There was now slightly less STUFF everywhere, and also clean and beautiful floors.
We also moved our dish washing from the dirt to the sink, bought a swiffer because we’re classy like that, and stopped wearing our shoes in the cabin.
